It happened at about 6 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway in Falmouth.

Police say the driver’s pickup truck drifted off the road and struck the guardrail.

The vehicle came to rest upside down with the driver trapped inside.

The individual was freed from the truck by Falmouth firefighters.

Police initially described the driver’s injuries as serious but non-life-threatening.
