Driver Not Injured After SUV Ends Up in Acton Pond

A 30-year-old driver from New Hampshire has escaped injury after his vehicle went off the road and into a pond in Acton

The York County Sheriff’s Office says they were sent to the scene of a reported vehicle in Horn Pond at about noon on Tuesday.

Deputies say their investigation found that Chayce Steffiare of Sanbornville, New Hampshire, was driving his 2025 Ford Explorer on New Bridge Road when he was forced off the road by an unknown oncoming vehicle.

They say Steffiare swerved and ended up roughly 20 feet from shore in the pond,
Steffiare was not hurt and was not taken to the hospital.
