Driver who struck car, pole in Kennebunk charged with driving to endanger


A driver who struck a utility pole and a parked car in Kennebunk has been charged.

Police say the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday near 105 Sea Road. An investigation found that the driver failed to maintain lane control, going off the road.

The driver, whose name has not been released, also struck a stone wall and a mailbox. They’ve been charged with driving to endanger.

Police say speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
