Maine’s Drug Enforcement Agency has cracked down on a drug-trafficking operation based out of Michigan that officials say was bringing large amounts of drugs into Maine.

The MDEA said the ring was operating out of Hancock and Penobscot Counties. Six people were charged.

Investigators were led to a home in Hermon, where the suspects, four of which are from Maine, were allegedly trafficking the drugs. Police seized meth, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and guns while searching the home Wednesday.

The individuals were identified as 42-year-old Robert Mann, 22-year-old David Conaway and 27-year-old Melissa Giuliana, all from Ellsworth, as well as 41-year-old Jacob Murphy of Surry.

25-year-old Davon Campbell and 33-year-old Andre Terry, both from Michigan, were also taken into custody.
