Eighth Armed Robbery in Eight Days Targets Aroma Joe’s in South Portland


SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) South Portland police are confirming an armed robbery Tuesday night at the Aroma Joe’s on Western Ave. Police believe it’s related to the string of recent robberies in the Greater Portland area.

According to our info partners at Channel 8, police got a call around 8:30 Tuesday night. Channel 8 reports the man walked up to the drive through window, showed the cashier his gun, and demanded money.

The cashier told Channel 8 she never expected her place of work to be the next target.
