Elderly man struck by tractor-trailer in Farmington dies

A Chesterville man died after getting hit by a tractor-trailer in Farmington on Monday.

Police say the crash happened on Main Street around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The driver of the truck stopped for a pedestrian on the sidewalk and then started to drive again when they struck 82-year-old Robert Leso, who died at the scene.

Police say they don’t believe the driver saw Leso.

No charges are expected for the driver.
