An Ellsworth man who was released after a drug bust last month has been arrested again on drug charges.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says 48-year-old Jeffrey Card was one of six people from Ellsworth and Mt. Desert Island who were taken into custody and charged with various drug offenses on Jan. 24. Card was later released on $5,000 cash bail.

On Wednesday, agents went to Card’s residence as part of his bail conditions. They found fentanyl and suspected methamphetamine, with a combined street value of $42,000.

Card was arrested again on drug charges and violating conditions of release.

He was brought to Hancock County Jail.
