Entrance to Acadia National Park is free Saturday, along with all other national parks across the U.S. in celebration of earth day.

According to CBS 13, Maine senator Angus King proposed the resolution and it was passed unanimously. King says he encourages everyone to take advantage of the waived fees and explore the beautiful landscape that Maine has to offer.

Acadia typically charges $35 per vehicle to get into the park.
