Fairfield Man Dies in Crash on I-95

WATERVILLE, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say a 73-year-old man has died after a crash on I-95 in Waterville Wednesday morning.

Police say around 10 a.m., State and Waterville Police responded to a single-car crash at mile marker 125.

Police say Bertrand Bard from Fairfield was driving a Jeep Laredo and went to pass another vehicle when he lost control.  His vehicle went off the roadway and into trees in the median.

Police say Bard died at the scene.

Police say they aren’t sure if the underlying cause of the crash was due to a medical condition.

The crash is under investigation.
