Farmington man charged with attempted murder following domestic violence shooting

One man is charged with attempted murder after a domestic violence shooting in Farmington.

Farmington Police say a 29-year-old woman was found with serious injuries to her face after officers responded to a home on Fairbanks Road Tuesday afternoon.

She was taken to Maine Medical Center in critical condition.

Police arrested 26-year-old Gunthar Swan of Farmington a short distance away from the scene.
