BERWICK (WGME) – According to the Berwick Police Department, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on Long Swamp Road in Berwick on Sunday. The driver’s vehicle veered off the road, collided with trees, and overturned.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, but their identity has not yet been released. While the crash is still under investigation, police suspect that excessive speed was the primary contributing factor.
