Portland, ME (WGAN)    As far as Portland is concerned, when you’re gone…you’re gone.

Last year Bay Ferries said goodbye to Portland, saying they were moving to Bar Harbor.

However, the federal shutdown stopped negotiations with the U-S Customs and Border Control…and they have been delayed indefinitely.

The Portland Press Herald said the owners of Bay Ferries contacted Portland officials about having their 2019 season in the city…but were told there was no longer any room for them.
