Fire destroys garage in Berwick

BERWICK, Maine (WGAN) Fire officials say a garage in Berwick was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning.

According to CBS 13 news, Berwick’s assistant fire chief said a husband, wife, and their dog were inside their home but were not injured after heavy flames and smoke were seen coming from the garage behind their home on Rochester Street.

The fire caused some smoke damage inside the home.

The Red Cross is assisting the family.
