Fire destroys home, barn in Casco

A barn and attached house in Casco were destroyed by fire on Wednesday.

The fire was reported near Crescent Lake Collision on Poland Spring Road, which was shut down between Edwards Road and Webbs Mills Road while crews battled the blaze.

There were no injuries, but both the barn where the fire started and the house are considered a total loss.

The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
