A woman’s body was found floating in a pond in Auburn Sunday morning.
The pond is known as “The Basin.”
The Lewiston Sun Journal reports a fisherman discovered the body around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Holbrook Road in Auburn was later closed as police investigated.
Detectives from the Maine State Police Major Crime Unit are assisting with the investigation.
