BAR HARBOR, Maine (AP) – Acadia National Park has closed a section of carriage road for repairs following a deluge last week.

Officials said it could take up to two months to repair the section after thunderstorms Tuesday night overwhelmed culverts and damaged some roads in eastern Maine.

The closure affects portions of the carriage roads between Aunt Betty Loop and Parkman.
