Foul play not suspected in unattended death of person found at Rockland cemetery

Maine State Police have joined Rockland police in an investigation after a body was found in a vehicle at a Rockland cemetery.

The body was found at the Achorn Cemtery around 8 a.m. Friday.

Foul play is not suspected.

Rockland police say the person’s name will not be released out of respect for the family and because no criminal charges are pending.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Rockland police.
