Fryeburg Police Find Body Along Saco River

Police in Fryeburg found a man dead on a beach Sunday morning.

Police and rescue crews found the man deceased near mile 14 of the Saco River, after responding to a 911 call for a canoer in distress around 7:45 a.m. Sunday.

Our info partners at CBS 13 News report the man was 28-years-old from Nashua, New Hampshire.

Police say the state medical examiner’s office will determine his cause of death.
