Gas Prices Up slightly In Northern New England

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gasoline prices have risen slightly in northern New England.

Prices in Maine went up 2.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25. In Vermont, prices went up 1.4 cents per gallon, to $2.35. New Hampshire’s price went up less than a penny and remained about $2.23 a gallon.

The national average has increased 6.8 cents per gallon in the last month and stands 19.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
