While most of the tens of thousands of Mainers who came out to the parade on Saturday were there to celebrate Maine 201st birthday a few hundred of them took the opportunity to let Maine Governor Janet Mills know exactly how they feel about the COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate set to take effect on October 1st in Maine.

The crowd of protesters mostly lined the bridge between Lewiston and Auburn and chanted “Freedom not Force” and other similar chants.  As seen in This Video Janet Mills appeared unaffected by peaceful protest along her parade route as she waved, smiled and even blew kisses at the crowd.

Janet Mills was the Grand Marshall at the parade riding on a 3D printed boat created by the University of Maine.
