Head-on crash in South Berwick sends 2 people to the hospital

Both drivers involved in a head-on crash in South Berwick had to be extricated from their vehicles before being taken to the hospital.

The crash happened Tuesday afternoon on Route 236 near Old Mill Road.

The crash sent debris across the road, with both vehicles heavily damaged.

There’s been no word yet on the conditions of the victims or the cause of the crash.
