Hermon man killed in ATV crash

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) A Hermon man was killed in an ATV crash in Bangor on Wednesday.

Bangor Police Sergeant Wade Betters said 31-year-old Shane Brown was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The crash happened on Banair Road around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. Brown was on one of two ATVs that were riding side-by-side and then crashed into each other. Police say Brown was ejected from the ATV.

The second rider was injured.

Police say investigators were working to reconstruct the crash.
