High Winds Causing Power Outages in Maine

Maine (WGAN)  Thousands of Mainers waking up Tuesday in the dark.

High winds overnight causing power outages across the state.

Central Maine Power was reporting about 64,000 outages around 6 a.m.  Cumberland County was the hardest hit with more than 15,000 outages.

Several schools are being affected as well.

Emera Maine was reporting nearly 11,000 outages of their own.
