House Fire Consumes Coastal Wells Home

The Wells Fire Department says they were working on containing a large house fire in Wells Sunday evening just after 6 pm.

The 4-alarm fire in Atlantic Avenue was emitting large flames, which looked to be threatening next door homes along the coast.

Fire fighters reported they saw the three story house collapse.

Atlantic Avenue was closed while crews were on the scene, and people were asked to avoid the area.
