Iconic Schooner Landing in Damariscotta to Reopen

An iconic Damariscotta restaurant will reopen at a temporary site after being destroyed by a fire last fall.

The owners of Schooner Landing on the Damariscotta River say they’ll work out of a food trailer and open the outside bar which was not harmed in the fire. In addition, they plan to provide restrooms and offer live music.

They plan to open Schooner Landing for the summer season between Memorial and Labor Day and then build a new restaurant building for the future.
