Investigation launched after two bodies are found inside Farmington home

Authorities say two people were found dead inside of a home in Farmington on Tuesday.

Maine Department of Public Safety’s Public Information Officer Shannon Moss says new information is expected on Wednesday following autopsies.

Farmington police arrived at the home on High Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday for a well-being check on the two people living inside. Police found the bodies of two men and alerted Maine State Police.

Crime scene analysts and the state police evidence response team were at the scene on Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information was released.
