Maine U.S. Rep. Jared Golden is among a group of New England Democrats who received bomb threats on Thanksgiving.

According to reporting from the Washington Times on Wednesday, Rep. Golden and 10 other Democrats in the region received an email threat signed “MAGA,” short for “Make America Great Again.”

Golden told the paper he didn’t know who made the threat but it may have come from a foreign IP address.

On Thursday, Golden’s office issued a statement saying he and his family are “very grateful for the exceptional response from the Lewiston Police Department.”
