L.L. Bean is sending out a warning to customers to be on the lookout for fake websites and ads that are impersonating the company.

In a post that was made online on friday, L.L. Bean said they were looking into fake sites, some of which promise steep discounts.

The company said they actively look for fraud like this and have the sites quickly removed, however it is a difficult process.

Our news partners at CBS 13 report that L.L. Bean has a page on their website that shows how to spot fake websites.
