A motorcyclist from Lewiston accused of surpassing 150 mph while leading police on a chase is now in custody.

Maine State Police say officers tried to stop a group of motorcyclists on Route 202 in Greene on Saturday. One of the three motorcyclists stopped, while another eventually returned to the scene of the traffic stop. A trooper tried to stop them too, but they took off.

Police say the motorcyclist led them on a chase for several miles, passing multiple vehicles at 154 mph, until police had to stop due to dangerous speed.

The suspect was found later in Leeds but took off again. He was eventually found in Auburn and identified as Devin Jeselskis. He was taken into custody without incident and faces several charges.
