Lewiston police identify pedestrian involved in hit-and-run; search for driver continues

LEWISTON, Maine (WGAN) Police in Lewiston have identified the victim of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

It happened on Lisbon Street under the Alfred Plourde Parkway overpass around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police identified the victim as 31-year-old Jason Stratton of Lewiston. He remains hospitalized at Central Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police say the vehicle involved was a gray Toyota Tundra pick-up truck but still have not located the driver.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area or knows anything about the incident to give them a call.
