Lewiston stabbing suspect arrested after threatening with man with knife, carjacking

A Lewiston teenager sought as a suspect in a stabbing was arrested Thursday after police said he was part of a group who tried to steal a car, possibly at knifepoint.

Thomaston police released the report Sunday. police say four juveniles were reported for a carjacking attempt on Thomaston commons way by a good samaritan who was then threatened at knife point.

Rockland police chief Christ young arrived and briefly had the four subjects at gunpoint.

Abdi Ibrahim of Lewiston was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, aggravated reckless conduct and unlawful possession of drugs.

Ibrahim is a suspect in a stabbing on April 12 on Bartlett Street in Lewison.

The three juveniles were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and released to their guardians.
