Limington Man Charged with Domestic Violence

LIMINGTON, Maine (WGAN)  The York County Sheriff’s Office says a Limington man has been arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Police say Monday night, deputies responded to Boothby Road for a reported disturbance.  When police arrived, they learned that the dispute had become physical.

36-year-old Richard Perkins was found to be the primary aggressor, according to police, and was arrested for domestic violence assault.

Police say he was also on bail conditions from a previous arrest and was charged with violating conditions of release, as well as refusing to submit to detention or arrest.

Perkins will have his initial court appearance on Wednesday.

His violating conditions of release charge makes him ineligible to be released on bail.
