Lincoln County police alert public about missing camper

Police are asking for help locating a missing camper.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Brian McNamee was last seen at his job at the Southport General Store on July 1. Witnesses say he took his belongings from work, including his chef knives, on the day he left.

He was reported missing on July 21.

Police found his campsite and some of his belongings at the Penny Lake Preserve where he was camping.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
