Lisbon crash sends 2 to the hospital with serious injuries

Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash in Lisbon.

The crash was reported Tuesday morning on Route 196 at the Topsham line.

Police say the driver of an SUV was making a left and pulled out in front of a pickup truck, causing a collision.

The SUV driver, a 53-year-old woman, and the pickup driver, a 30-year-old man, were taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

The names of those involved were not released Tuesday.

The crash is under investigation.
