Maine AG’s office launches investigation into officer-involved shooting in Alton

Maine State Police say an officer-involved shooting in Alton Friday morning is under investigation.

Police say the shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. near 180 Argyle Road. The Attorney General’s Office was investigating the shooting.

No other details have been released.
