Maine Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee dies in workplace accident, police say.

An employee at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility near the Portland Jetport died Monday after he was struck by a pickup truck, police say.

Antonio Baptista-Tampini, 34, of Portland was reportedly struck by the truck around 2:30 p.m. at the company’s vehicle service facility on Westbrook Street.

Police say the truck was being driven by a 55-year-old South Portland man.

The Portland Police Dept. did not immediately release the driver’s name or announce any charges in connection with the incident.

OSHA was called to help investigate the accident.
