Maine high school student arrested for having weapon on school grounds, police say

A high school student in Waterboro has been arrested for allegedly having a weapon on school property.

According to CBS 13, Officials say they learned Monday night about photos and videos showing students with a weapon while on Massabesic High School grounds.

Officials seized the weapon and identified the students, who have all been issued criminal trespass notices prohibiting them from entering all RSU 57 property.

At last check, only one person had been arrested, but police say additional arrests are expected.
