Maine’s first arena football team played its debut game Saturday night.
The Maine Mammoths lost 51-24 to the Massachusetts Pirates. The Portland Press Herald reports Maine quarterback Jonathan Bane had three touchdown passes and one rushing touchdown in the loss.
The Mammoths play their first home game at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland on Saturday, April 14. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
