Maine man accused of setting fire to building in Mechanic Falls

A resident and co-owner of a multi-family building in Mechanic Falls that went up in flames is charged with arson.

Fire marshal investigators were called to the building on Pleasant St. around 5 p.m. Tuesday and determined the fire had been set.

30-year-old Daniel Field was arrested and charged with arson and failing to maintain or control a dangerous fire.

The investigation is ongoing.
