Maine man arrested after allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting woman

A man from Knox has been arrested after he was accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman for days.

Our news partner CBS 13 reports that 64-year-old Larry Alexander was charged with gross sexual assault, kidnapping, terrorizing, and assault on June 24th.

After the woman agreed to go on a date with Alexander, she arrived a his home on the 20th and was not allowed to leave until the 23rd.

Alexander is being held at the Waldo County jail with bail being set at $15,000. He will appear in court on Aug. 25th.
