LEWISTON, Maine (AP) A Maine Superior Court justice has ordered that a Lewiston man be held without bail in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred last month.

The Sun Journal reports that Jaquille Coleman was charged Tuesday with intentional murder in the death of 19-year-old Natasha Morgan.

Authorities said in an arrest affidavit that they learned from interviews with Morgan’s family that Coleman allegedly asked her about renewing their relationship. They say he fired four shots at her when she walked away from him.

Attorney Verne Paradie, who’s representing Coleman, said he’s awaiting more discovery materials before a bail hearing is held.

Coleman was arrested in Mississippi on Aug. 26 and extradited to Maine.
