The Maine State Police are asking for public help to find a 41-year-old man accused of strangling his pregnant partner.

Officers say Dusty O’Brien strangled his partner Tuesday and then ran from his residence before police arrived.

They say O’Brien is known to frequent Porter and other parts of Oxford County.

He’s wanted for domestic violence assault, domestic violence reckless conduct, and violating conditions of release. He is out on bail for a separate domestic violence arrest, police said.

A release from the Southern Field Troop said anyone who sees O’Brien or knows where he may be should call 911 or the Augusta Regional Communications Center at 207-624-7076.
