Maine Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Mass.

HAVERHILL, Massachusetts (WGAN)  Massachusetts State Police say a pair of Maine men are facing drug charges.

Police say they were conducting a check of the rest area in Haverhill on I-495 northbound Sunday around 3 a.m., when they noticed a car parked parallel with the curb, despite parking spots not facing that way.

Police say after a short investigation, they seized 101.1 grams of cocaine and 51.4 grams of heroin.

26-year-old Joshua Blodgett from Skowhegan and 25-year-old Shane Lunt from Benton were both charged with trafficking.  Lunt was also charged with furnishing a false name.

Both are being held on $50,000 bail and are scheduled for arraignment in Haverhill District Court on Tuesday.
