Maine reports more than 400 new coronavirus cases, three more deaths

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) The Maine CDC reported 439 new cases of the coronavirus Monday.

More than 22,000 cases have been reported since mid-March.

Also Monday, public health officials announced that three more people have died with COVID-19, raising the death toll to 326.

More than 17,000 Maine people, predominantly health care workers on the front lines of the pandemic, have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, representing about 1.3 percent of the state’s population.
