KENNEBUNK, Maine (WGAN) Maine school district RSU21 has reached a settlement with former Kennebunk High School teacher Rosa Slack.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Slack filed a complaint with the Maine Human Rights Commission in January of last year in which she claimed she faced retaliation from the district after sharing her concerns regarding two race-based threats.

The RSU21 school board is conducting an investigation into how the district handles potentially racist incidents.

The terms of the settlement are not public.
