Mainers Honor the Homeless People Who Died in Portland

A vigil was held Friday night in Portland, honoring the homeless people who passed away in the city this year.

The annual Homeless Person’s Memorial Vigil was held at the Preble Street Shelter.

The Portland Press Herald reports 36 homeless people in Portland died in 2018, about the same number as last year.
