Man accused of setting fire near dumpster in Waterville

A Waterville man is charged with arson for setting a fire next to a dumpster.

Police arrested 47-year-old Jason Woods of Waterville early Thursday near a building on College Avenue.

Officers found him on the ground next to burning debris.

Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and took Woods to Kennebec County Jail, where he was charged with arson.
