Man Arrested for Arson in Bangor


BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  A Bangor man has been arrested on two counts of arson.

The Bangor Police Department says 21-year-old Matthew Huntington was arrested Friday.

Police say the arrest stems from an investigation into an arson at Kenny U-Pull in early November and at Linnehan’s Rightway Auto in October.  In both cases, several vehicles were destroyed.

A co-defendant, Ethan Getchell was arrested on Dec. 20.

Police took Huntington to Penobscot County Jail.

Their investigation is ongoing.
