Man charged in Sanford hotel shooting arrested in New Hampshire

Police in Sanford say police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting at a local hotel.

35-year-old William Hallinan Jr. was arrested in Rochester, New Hampshire on Friday in connection with a shooting at a Quality Inn on Main Street in Sanford that happened on June 14th. A woman was shot in the leg but her injuries were not life-threatening.

Hallinan is a prohibited person who is not allowed to possess a firearm, which means more charges are expected. He’s being held on $10,000 cash bail.
