Man Crashes Motorcycle, Spends Night Looking for Help

A Maine man survived overnight in the woods Tuesday night after crashing his motorcycle.

According to our info partners at channel 8 WMTW, 52-year-old David Gorey of Anson crashed his motorcycle around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night.

Gorey wasn’t found until 7 a.m. Wednesday after he was heard calling for help.

He was taken to a hospital in Skowhegan and was later flown to Eastern Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police believe high speed may have been a factor in the crash.
